Spartan Family Network

As a parent or family member of a UNCG student, you are now part of the Spartan Family Network. The Spartan Family Network is a free service provided to all UNCG parents and family members.

With your membership, you will receive many benefits, including:

Spartan Families Fund

Your student’s successful university experience is enhanced by many support services not covered by tuition. Therefore, UNCG must rely on private gifts to enrich the student experience.

The Spartan Families Fund is an annual fund that supports student success from move-in to graduation by sustaining vital programs that contribute to your student’s education and learning environment.

Every year parents and family members are invited by mail, email, student callers, or Families Fund staff to make a gift that will support a variety of student services, many that exist only because of the Spartan Families Fund

While your student is at UNCG, we ask that you consider making the Spartan Families Fund one of your top philanthropic priorities. Regardless of the size, every gift to the Spartan Families Fund matters. Smaller gifts add up and quickly make a difference.

Your gift to the Spartan Families Fund will provide immediate benefits to current UNCG students. Recent areas of support have included:

  • The PFAC Scholarship, which has been awarded annually since 2008, recognizes students who have inspired goodwill and support for the university and the larger Greensboro community. More information about the PFAC Scholarship can be found here.
  • Student Assistance for Emergencies (SAFE) Fund
