Student Affairs
Annual Report 2023–24
Introduction from Vice Chancellor
The Division of Student Affairs comprises an exceptional and dedicated team of professionals focused on one major priority: helping our students achieve their academic goals! We continue to make excellent progress in supporting student success by focusing on engagement, inclusion, belonging, and well-being. These strategic priorities guided our work in the 2023–24 academic year. Using what we know about our students’ greatest needs and the environments that best enable their success, we continued to prioritize our work around efforts that will produce the greatest impacts. Our partnerships with colleagues across the campus helped us achieve remarkable outcomes for students. UNC Greensboro’s commitment to access and excellence means that we do our very best to provide tools so every student can succeed.
This report highlights many of our goals, accomplishments, honors and awards, and new initiatives launched by our division’s committees, departments, and our overall team. I am incredibly proud of the excellent work being done in Student Affairs. At the end of the semester, we proudly celebrated a new group of college graduates turned Spartan alumni. We understand the impact of this milestone. For half of our students, they are the first in their families to graduate. With this in mind, we know we are making a difference – not just for our students, but for their families and for future generations.
I am honored to be a Spartan and to serve as your Vice Chancellor.
