UNC Greensboro is included in Washington Monthly’s “America’s Best Colleges for Student Voting”. A total of 205 schools made the list.

In the 2020 presidential election, more than half of all 18- to 24-year-olds cast ballots – the first time this feat occurred since the U.S. let 18-year-olds vote. Turnout among that age group grew by more than double the overall increase from 2016: 12 percentage points versus 5.4 points.

At UNCG, the Office of Leadership & Civic Engagement led a campus-wide voter engagement plan, including staff and student leaders facilitating 55 “Voting 101 for Engaged Citizens” workshops to over 750 students.
