Submitting an Experience Request

Experiences allow you to track out-of-the-classroom activities, such as awards, internships, or other involvement during your time at UNCG. Experiences let you showcase these additional activities on your co-curricular record to share with future employers, graduate schools, for scholarship applications, or for any other reason you might want to share your involvement!

To submit an experience request, go to spartanconnect.uncg.edu and access your User Drawer by clicking your initial or photo in the top right corner of your screen. Click Experiences.


You will see a list of your experiences, if you have any created. Click Add Experience and select the type of experience you will be submitting.


Fill out the experience form with all of the requested information. Be sure to be detailed so that those approving your request have all the information they need! Click Submit at the bottom of the form. The experience will either be automatically approved or it will be sent to the SpartanConnect administrator (or other campus administrators) for approval. You can view the experience’s status (pending, approved, or denied) at any time by returning to your full list of experiences.

Completing the Co-Curricular Transcript

For more information regarding the items that fulfill specific “paths” of the Co-Curricular Transcript:

1. Go to spartanconnect.uncg.edu and access your User Drawer by clicking your initial or photo in the top right corner of your screen. Click the bento menu icon at the top of the page, then choose Explore.

 

Scroll down the page past events to “Paths”, then click on “Co-Curricular Transcript”

You will see your current progress:

Modify Your Co-Curricular Transcript (at any time)

  1. Log in to SpartanConnect at spartanconnect.uncg.edu using your UNCG ID and password.
  2. Go to the ‘My Involvement’ tab at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the ‘Co-Curricular Transcript’ tab.
  4. Deselect the positions and memberships you do not want to show on the transcript.
  5. Click “Print View / PDF” at the top of the page. A new web page window will display and download a PDF version of the transcript.
