Introduction from Vice Chancellor
The Division of Student Affairs continues to focus on student learning and success, student engagement, inclusion and belonging, and student well-being. These strategic priorities guided our work in the 2022–2023 academic year. We saw greater numbers of students engaging on the campus, and more seeking out the support services that are central to their success. Our partnerships with colleagues across the campus helped us achieve some remarkable outcomes for students. UNC Greensboro’s commitment to access and excellence means that we do our very best to provide the tools so that every student can succeed.
This report highlights many of the accomplishments and new initiatives launched by various committees, departments, and our division overall. I am incredibly proud of the dedication and excellent work of the Student Affairs team, who are collectively focused on helping our students achieve their goal of earning a college degree. For half of our students, they are the first in their family to reach that milestone. With this in mind, we know we are making a difference—not just for our students, but for their families and future generations.
I am honored to be a Spartan and to serve as your Vice Chancellor.
