94% of freshmen students who filled out the SOAR survey indicated that by viewing Life at the G, they feel more knowledgeable about experience they may have as a UNCG student.
We asked the question, "Name one thing that Life at the G taught you." We received 482 comments and 204 of them fell under the theme Spartans look out for and support one another.
100% The Dean of Students staff is devoted to creating a culture of care in which students feel supported and empowered to succeed.

Food or other donations can be dropped of 10:30am to 3:00pm at the Associated Campus Ministries front desk or by appointment.

ACM then supplements students receiving food with $20 to $40 dollar gift cards to Food Lion so they can pick up bread, fresh vegetables, fruits, and other small items.  Gifts can be made to this fund through The Wesley Foundation @ UNCG, by including “Students in Need Fund” in the memo line of a donation check.

Checks can be mailed to Wesley-Luther, ACM Center at UNCG, 500 Stirling St., Greensboro NC 27402 or to Andrew Mails, ACM Center #206 through campus mail.

 

Food Pantry

The list attempts to take into account that while some students have access to a small kitchen some may not, or may only have a microwave. All non-perishable foods are welcome.

  • Canned vegetables (especially high fiber)

  • Pasta sauces (non-glass preferred)
  • Canned soup (both condensed and non-condensed, and microwavable)
