200 Attendees at Careers in Student Affairs Conference

The Division of Student Affairs and the Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education Master of Education program partnered together to host the Careers in Student Affairs conference in the Leonard J. Kaplan Center for Wellness on Friday, September 20. Nearly 200 undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals from across North Carolina gathered to attend a graduate school program expo, reflect from a keynote by Dr. Sonja Ardoin, and learn more about what it takes to be equipped for a career at various levels in our field. Program tracks included engaging, innovative presentations for undergraduates considering a Student Affairs career, best practices for current graduate students and professionals, and considerations for those looking to complete a doctoral program in the near future.  Attendees were also able to tour two Division facilities – the Kaplan Center and the Spartan Village Apartments. Thank you to all of our colleagues who helped make this happen!
